Proposed Research Topic: An analysis of main aspects in crew management of
maritime industry and future of crewing.

Purposes:  Every year in the world are
happening big amount of accidents such as grounding, sinking, collision,
fatality due to human error, which is according to MI News Network(2016)  occurs in 96 cases out of 100.Therefore it is
important to take into account human factor.  The ASP Group claims that well trained well
rewarded, contented crews are essential to well managed and safe ships.  Nevertheless, there are several aspects which
are vital for creating a highly competent crew.

In this research
I want to investigate the main and basic aspect that is important for crew
management. As a future deck officer it is important for me to be effective
efficient and highly educated. This research will approach me to these
qualities.

 

Objectives:

–         
To
ensure a complete understanding of crewing by examining all aspects that affect
it

–         
To
determine main and fundamental aspects for crewing

–         
To
analyze all the data and statistics of crewing companies for the last 10 years

–         
To
evaluate the crewing in the marine industry

 

 

Methodology: I will be guided by information taken prevailingly
from secondary sources: researches, articles, books, magazines. Nevertheless, I
will apply a questionnaires and interviews from lectors of Kazakhstan Maritime
Academy as a primary source. By gathering all the information from both
sources, I will evaluate and analyze it for hitting all the targets I already
set.
